Parents are making a big mistake by not spending enough time learning about their baby’s sleep.

We do classes on breastfeeding.
We prepare for birth.
We research baby care.

But sleep?

We assume it will just come naturally.

And only when things get bad — the endless night wakes without a solution, short naps, baby crying, not sleeping well and not feeding well, feeling stuck with rocking or feeding to sleep every single time — is when we finally think about addressing sleep.

We should prepare to establish good sleep habits.
Not troubleshoot after things get really tough.

On top of that,

You are being lied to

There are a few things you’ve probably been told about newborn sleep that simply aren’t true.

Sleep for newborns is natural. They sleep when they are tired.

I’m sure you were told breastfeeding is natural too.
But didn’t it take effort to establish?

Babies don’t just sleep when they are tired. It takes work to shape their sleep habits to make them sustainable.

You need to ride out the sleepless nights till they are older.

In the first 4 weeks, waking every 1–2 hours is understandable.

But as they grow older, they are very capable of sleeping for longer stretches of 4–6 hours and even beyond by the time they are 2–3 months old.

But it doesn’t just happen. It comes with carefully shaping their sleep and feeding habits.

Babies cannot have routines & you just have to go with the flow.

You set off this journey on the wrong foot with this advice.

Instead of helping your child’s body clock, you keep following their immature sleep patterns and solidifying them.

What you need to do is take the reins of their routine in your hands after understanding their sleep needs and cues.

Babies can only sleep at the breast.

This isn’t a bad sleep association. It works beautifully for some moms.

But it leaves others totally exhausted when they’re actively feeding for 4 - 6 hours every day (30 minutes per feed × 10–12 feeds), and then comforting nursing for sleep on top of that every hour of the night.

Feeding shouldn’t feel like you are the only way your baby knows how to sleep.

You must make your baby sleep in a jhula/swing.

Not only is it unsafe and posing a suffocation risk to your precious baby, it is also an exhausting habit that leaves parents with no choice but to move the swing all night long.

And you honestly deserve to have proper guidance that is based on facts.

Establish good ones from the start.

Stop waiting for things to get bad before you take sleep seriously.

Instead, start understanding your baby’s sleep from day one so you can shape healthy habits before overtiredness and exhaustion take over.

Get a clear, step-by-step system that shows you exactly what to do from the moment your baby wakes, through every feed, nap, bedtime and night waking — so you can build longer stretches of sleep without feeding and rocking becoming the only way your baby knows how to sleep.

A big challenge for new parents is that we're often getting baby sleep advice from the wrong sources 👇🏼

👵🏼

Grandmas

Grandmas last took care of a baby a few decades ago (when we were babies!!).

Their wisdom about the best burping techniques may be golden.

But infant sleep? That’s something that was hardly understood 30 years ago.

They are not equipped to give you advice beyond:
“Make sure they have a full tummy.”
“The child will sleep when they are sleepy.”

But babies don’t always sleep just because they are sleepy.

And a full tummy does not guarantee consolidated sleep.

Sleep science has evolved. But their advice has not.

👨🏽‍⚕️

Pediatricians

In a typical MBBS and MD in pediatrics, sleep is taught briefly — sometimes around 30 minutes.

When you ask them about your baby endless wakings and short naps, this is what they tell you

“This is normal.”
“That’s just how it is.”
“Baby is growing well, so not a concern.”

No solutions. Just dismissal. Or superficial advice.

Pediatricians are trained to ensure your baby is medically healthy. And that is incredibly important and they do a great job at that.

But understanding a baby's sleep and offering comprehensive advice to improve sleep is not their area of expertise.

📸

Mom influencers

Every mom influencer has suddenly become a baby expert without any training or professional experience.

They share "sleep hacks" that have worked on their own child. Often unscientific. Sometimes unsafe. (Remember the trend of feeding your baby a whole stick of butter before bed?)

Sometimes their videos are tied to products they're being paid to endorse. They can be good or gimmicky or sometimes safety hazards (like baby nests and embroidered newborn blankets!!)

You deserve guidance rooted in science and proven across many families.

Not clickbait non-sense advice that could even be potentially dangerous.

What you truly need is an expert who understands a baby’s sleep.

Someone who coaches sleep methods that are realistic and rooted in science.

Someone who has proven results using those methods in real life with families to help their newborns sleep better.

And that someone is me

I'm Rinie Gupta, a double certified sleep consultant and newborn care specialist who is internationally trusted by parents and celebrities to guide them on their baby's sleep.

I'm a fellow mom and I live with my family in Singapore.

Why This Matters So Much To Me

I read all about feeding, burping, diapering but did not pay attention to the sleep habits of my own baby.

Within a few weeks after birth, naps got hard. Night wakings increased. Excessive crying throughout the day started happening.

Doctors told me it was colic and I needed to ride it out.

My mom told me it was probably something I ate that affected my breastmilk, so I need to change my diet.

My nanny told me I just wasn’t feeding enough, which led to even more guilt.

What it turned out to be was that my baby was suffering from lack of sleep. Overtiredness.

No one even suggested this, let alone helped me fix it.

And I don't want you to feel stuck in the same way I did.

Wondering how much learning all of this will cost you?

A few hundred dollars?

Nope.

Just 3199 INR or 35 USD.

Parents today spend far too much money on baby products.

Every new gadget seems like a MUST HAVE!

But what is truly essential is you learning how to understand your baby.

Love is instinctive.
Parenting is a skill.

And investing in learning that skill will likely be one of the best investments you make as a parent.

YES I want to invest in learning about my baby!

If your baby is going to spend 14–18 hours sleeping every day, doesn’t it make sense to learn how to ensure they get the best possible sleep?

And as a side perk, you'll get more rest too so you can show up in your best capacity for your child.

It's a win-win!

This Newborn Sleep Course includes everything you need to...

Support healthy weight gain & a strong breastfeeding relationship while still getting longer night stretches.

Get longer naps to support healthy development (and catch a much deserved break in the day)

Enable your baby to sleep in the crib / on the bed instead of only relying on contact naps or jhula/swing

Gently enable your baby to learn to sleep independently without rocking or feeding
